WORK WITH ME

I believe very strongly in people’s capacity to grow, change, and heal - and as my own path has changed over the years, I’ve grown wary of labels (which makes marketing yourself a bit challenging!) My strongest desire and calling has always been to work with people, to help them process, problem solve, and overcome their struggles in whatever ways I am able. In the past, I’ve coached people academically and spiritually, using tools as diverse as tarot, mediumship, metaphysical philosophy, and the MLA Style Manual.

After working for more than 15 years as a spiritual counselor and life coach, I’ve come to realize that some of these tools work better than others—and that a multimodal approach, tailored to the client, is often better than ‘one size fits all.’ Though I am still deeply committed to helping clients with spiritual and metaphysical concerns, it’s important to me to work within a framework that honors your beliefs and worldview, building upon what’s already there rather than replacing it with my own faith, practice, or ideology.

You don’t have to believe anything specific to work with me. I’m here to help you work through what you’re going through, using the tools I have at my disposal with which you are most comfortable.

Sessions can involve various tools including divination, trance/vision, and guidance / mentorship based on my many years of experience studying religious and folk practices. Existing clients can state their preference for the tools they’d like to use. New clients are encouraged to book an introductory session where we’ll go over your needs and expectations.

I’m also available to help with writing, editing, critique and creative consultation for individuals and brands. I have over a decade of experience writing and publishing academic, commercial, and creative content including poetry and fiction. In 2022, I’m no longer sharing as much of my personal spiritual practice on public channels. Folks in my Patreon group get access to 4+ years of essays, videos, and audio recordings on magic, religion, folklore, and more, as well as access to a thriving Discord community and regular zoom hangs where we discuss the weird, inexplicable, and enchanted.

Please note: While I have many years of personal experience (and therapeutic treatment) in recovery, healing from trauma, conflict management, and cult deprogramming, I am not a licensed therapist or counselor. If you are in crisis, I always recommend reaching out to a medical professional first. I see my role as supportive, a metaphysical coach and spiritual cheerleader here to offer you alternative perspectives and information on your journey. Sometimes life gets weird AF, and you need to take a weird approach to navigate it. That’s the capacity in which I function.
